Blue laser 2w Distance can be seeing ?

Hello,all Laser Lover.
I just order a blue laser from the forum.
I want ask you at how much distance I can see the Shapped dot ?
I have a green <250mw and I can see the Dot easy a 3kilometers,I hope blue 2w goes at more long distance.
What's the more visible Color by human eyes after Green ? I think Red or Violet but i'm not sure.

I don't actually think it will go much longer or even longer than ur Green laser, because Blue's (445-450nm) usually have a bigger divergence than green's. But it really depends on what divergence ur green laser is. :-)
 
I have a 1.4W 445nm that the beam seams to stretch for miles. The dot WILL be larger than your green laser though because the 445nm diodes are divergent and produce a dot with a rectangular shape to them.

I have tested many of my blue lasers ... They all seems to go over 8km.

Awesome video! I really need to go on top of mount royal (a mountain in the middle of my city) and point it down towards the opposite end of Montreal! Love to see how far it can reach! :wave:
 
Do a search for blue laser and space station...;)

- Also bear in mind, this was estimated to be an 800 mW laser.


You can also have a look here. The mountains were around 4 miles away and the dot was very clearly visible. :beer:
