I have a red and blue PT-121 LED with heatsink and optics from a H1600 projector. $50 free shipping US on the red. $60 on the bare blue LED Shipped US.

18A CW and 30A Pulsed.

If you are looking for an insanely bright blue or red led this is it. These are about $100 after shipping from mouser for just the bare LED. Pt-121 LED LED Lighting Modules | Mouser

Here are some picts of them running. I can only feed them about 5A with my power supply but they are ridiculously bright already.:eg:

The optics on the red one shape it into a 4X3 box while the blue has a round output like a flood light. Not sure why they would be different.

what happened to you finger? playing who can take that 2W beam longer? looks so oval like a 445 diode :D anyway good luck with the sale!

Soldering iron burn. I get them all the time. I have about four now in different states of healing. It is the nature of the beast. When you use a soldering iron for 3-4 hours a day it is bound to happen. I have gotten used to it.:tinfoil:

Wait since when did they have blue in them.
Does this mean the projectors no longer have 445nm diodes.

In the H series they are using the 445 diodes to make just the green light with the color wheel. The blue and red LED's provide the red and blue light.

Using blue to make green.
Its good for us but why not just use a Green LED
so does that also mean there are not as many diodes any more.

Since I'm not an 'expert' of LED models, what's the Wattage of these and what are the required current and voltage (or ideal...)?

The ones from this thread sold a long time ago. I did get another blue and red a couple of months ago but I am unsure where they are. I was saving the blue for a personal project. I will search around and shoot you a message as soon as I can find them.

Thanks, sorry to dig up this old thread. The red would be great if it turns up I also need 3 PT-54 red w/heatsink and optics. If you can find it and ship it all together, that's great. If not I'll still take the PT-54's.

Thanks

I have a few more of these if anyone is interested.

Sure do here this will make it easy.
