hey, i have a bluray laser diode that i have obtained from my old PS3, i have made previously made a red laser and a green laser, both based on aixis laser driver and module, and are both housed in an altoids tin, i have now decided to go more ambitious and have chosen to build a bluray laser, though all i have is a diode, does anybody have an advise on a good setup(including host)? any advise and help is appreciated!! :anyone:

Well, you'll need a driver that puts out a low current, since those PS3 diodes aren't all that powerful, I would go with a PHR diode, which is fairly cheap ~10$ then you can use a Flex Drive or a linear jib drive, depending on if you have a 2 cell or 1 cell setup. As for a host, I have no idea... Since the person who made cheap hosts recently quit production.
