Blowgun Laser

To start off, I don't know anything about lasers and I don't know if i post this in the right section.

So yesterday i made a blowgun based on this video i saw on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgT8I2uxJ6o
and in this video he uses a laser for his blowgun.

My question is, what laser would be good for this project? I'd like a laser visible on a wall both in daylight, night time. Any help is appreciated.

That is pretty cool. I made a few longer ones a few years ago and they really do have some power.
Why not just buy one at a pet store like he did? I don't like the idea of using a laser at all like he did to shoot the marshmallow at a living target. That part was plain stupid.

Oh man, I love Grant Thompson!
His project videos are very interesting and unique, plus he's one of the most creative youtubers out there IMO.
