I dont think this material is for sale yet, but you could try 'lamp black'. It reflects less than 1% of visible light, and if you paint a spot on a wall with it, it looks like a hole.

LoL Yes. Someone better tell these researchers that they have been wasting there time and that all they need to do is buy "lamp black" :p
 
That seem just an upgrade of the actual treatment of the solar collector tubes ..... i mean, actually the "vacuum" type solar collector tubes, already use a surface treatment (making chemically "microcells" on the surface of the external tube) that helps in absorbing 94 to 96% of the light (for a better conversion of light in heat) ..... also, if i recall correctly, the first experiments was made like 10 years ago or more, using copper ..... still an upgrade, anyway (waiting the day they reach 100%, LOL)

EDIT: basically, also some types of anodization works in a similar way (also if not with the same efficence)
