Yep I had an M8 not work, getting very hot, he wouldn't take it back to check but sent me another replacement!

I was doing some testing tonight on the BB3. I had noticed that I wasn't able to even come close to 1.8 amps with the 2-cell battery pack I was using. Even with the batteries fully charged and the potentiometer turned all the way up it peaked at just over 1.3 amps. I then noticed on the specs that the BB3 can handle 2-3 cells so I hooked up a 3 cell battery pack from my RC airplane. I was then able to hit my 1.8 amp goal and beyond. Not sure how I feel about these results......

The 2 cell bay looks like it's a parallel config.

The 2 cell bay looks like it's a parallel config.

Looks can be deceiving!!! I customized a cheap charger and turned it in to a battery pack. I ripped the guts out and I assure you the batteries are in series.
