The beams on these are orangish. And a 300mw for $100. I've ordered from max before and his lasers are good.

Nah, for $200 you could get one that does almost 1w. The harder you overdrive the diode though, the more it shifts wavelengths towards 650.

Max will even LPM your laser for $5 and send you a power certificate with it. Pretty sweet deals

Not so sure about lazerer.com though. They've had a good amount of less-than-pleased customers in the last few months. The b/s/t section is usually your best bet.

Two of the three lasers I bought from lazerer died. The third is faulty.

I think I can get a 1W 635 for <$150 in a custom host and all. They're not too expensive.

I have the other model. It does around 400mW, never had any problems with it. OTOH I bought it before the bad Lazerer reviews started, not sure if they're still good.
