I'd give it a go...
I'm very reasonable, level-headed, slow to judge, and I'd be fairly quick to react to situations requiring immediate attention...

Plus, being retired leaves me with time on my hands, and I'm at home most hours of the day and night...

And I would add, one of the most important thing a moderator must always do is keep their opinions to themself, and don't let your friendships with other members cloud your judgement! which I pledge to always do!

Friendships when you are a moderator, take a back seat, IMO, when you are online as a moderator, you have to be alert and attentive to everything, you have to always stay on top of things and focused, it's like wearing a uniform, and it has your hours of service, during the shift lined up and covered and always keeping an eye on the pen, off duty, your attitude changes.
