Well today I was going to order my first laser :), I have $60.00.
I just wanted to know whether I should go with the waterproof design
Or the New Fashion Red Laser.

What do you think?

(I know it says that I have a Waterproof laser on my signature)

Bump

Well I bought the waterproof laser and it is shipped tomorrow!!

I see no reason to own a waterproof one. Unless you dive or snorkel, even then I'd be afraid of it leaking.
The extra lens used to make it WP cuts down on power and adds artifacts to the beam.
Just my 2 cents, I sure all don't agree!

Well I guess your choice is simple now...

Susie told lemonwonder/BeamCheap to NOT sell lasers on LPF...

Jerry

Well Lemon told my that my lasers power is 192mW :) and tested out the laser himself :D

Looks like you just got in under the wire...
What type of LPM did lemonwonder use to check the output..

Jerry

Thats an interesting development, could you prove a link?

I think it was under one of lemon's threads, I'll try and find it for you but Susie told a member over MSN who was contacting her on Lasersbee's behalf.

So she didn't post it on LPF personally, but I see no reason for the member to lie about it.

Cooler chill out with the posts about your laser. You dont even have it in your hands yet. Even when you get it you cant review it. Do you have a laser power meter? Do you know how to measure divergence? Do you have other lasers to compare it too? Do you have a camera with a macro feature? If you answer no to any of these, then you have no review. So enough already. "it looks cool, and is bright" is not a review. If I see one more post about that laser before you get it, I'm going to rep you.

It was me and I have a copy of the convo. I sent a copy to dave and lasersbee (Jerry) ask them. She said she told him not to sell here.

**Edit**

Those two black things, do they go around the batteries or somthing? Also on the user-manual it said "It is better to use continously not more than 5 minutes every time."
So do I use the laser for only 5mins a day?

You will know if the battery needs the "spacers" when the laser arrives. If the battery "rattles" in the tube, use the spacers on it.

It would appear that they are saying you can have the laser on for up to 5 minutes. Then you would have to let it cool down again before you use it.

Peace,
dave
