Beam Expanders !

I could use an adapter to the JL 10x BE. I would prefer to avoided using the 3 piece adapter they include with the item. Can anyone reputable member fab one up for me?

i used a telescope its got a 90mm lens after watching Saturn and its rings i decide just to see what will happen if i used the 44 and the beam was so tiny was cool so i gave the telescope to a friend and am planing to install like 4 diodes in it make some holes and mirrors just an experiment
just dont like the reversing thing!
off topic -
i will upload the pictures of the planets on my profile

What you just said seem to be the same as Sanwu's description of the two lens....

Sanwu's description

G2 - Less concentrated beam over long distances and affect the beam profile

G7 - It has the same low divergence beam profile as 3-elements lens long focal point and tight beam profile

Yep, that's correct. The short RFL of the G2 results in a narrower beam at aperture, but increased divergence. The longer RFL of the G7 gives you a fatter beam, but better divergence. Both have a wider aperture than the 3 element and will give you more power than the 3 element. :)

Also, another reminder, please don't double post. You've been asked not to countless times. It's not hard.

I love to burn leaves and use a paper lunch bag with some torn up pieces of cardboard as my benchmark, it's one thing to make it smoke, even smolder to nothing, but to reliably exceed the flashpoint takes a certain concentration of power, sometimes it has to bake in for a minute at longer distances but my test is can it do it or not, so far with the NUBM44 in my tests a G2 followed by 6X Cyl correction and a 3X sanwu expander can reach out and burn the furthest, I am looking at some nicer expanders but correcting the divergence first proves to be the right way to go.

Today I set a lunch bag with some cardboard chunks at 60 feet and although it's a little wet in the air it lit it as usual, so far my 405's can reach this far but lack the total energy need for ignition, the NUBM44 has plenty of energy, it just has to be forced into a tight enough area to exceed the flashpoint of paper, it's so divergent and that's the biggest problem that kills range fast.

-------EDIT-------

I am thinking about a relay lens expander, would the AR coating on something like this stand up to my 6X corrected NUBM44 ?

Anyone have an opinion?

Linos Laser Beam Expander 2-8X 532 nm | eBay

I wish I could find wider objectives/exit lens units.

These have possibility.

EDIT

I made an offer on this one, no stealing please.

I'm going to try a few dif things but if I can't make it work the way I would like i'll just put the jetlaser BE on my thor m II because it will just screw right on to it without any adapters and then i'll get a 3X sanwu expander, I just bought a M462 462nm Diode for the thor because I really want to see what the 462nm blue looks like, I've read people say over and over how great the 462nm blue looks so I'm going to check it out !

Did I double post ? opps, if I did it was accidently, You can remind me a million times if you want but I can not guaranty with absolute certainty that it will never happen again and all the anal reminders in the world won't change that ! I know not to double post so if it ever does happen again I can guaranty that it was accidental and knowing that as long as it happens only very rarely try to bit your tongue. It's not hard.

Anyways.....

About the G7 when Sanwu says this about them
"G7 - It has the same low divergence beam profile as 3-elements lens long focal point and tight beam profile"
what do they mean by the "tight beam profile" part of that ?

You will like it, it's brighter looking, it will make your 445 look purple after looking at tho, it's a perception trip.

The G7 is a longer focal length and slightly wider inside the treaded housing, so it will start wider and diverge slower, somewhat mimicking a 3 element but a little different and not as wasteful on power. The G2 is efficient but diverges rapidly.

I'm changing my 445nm laser to 462nm and I will also have the monster 44 at 450nm, It's going to be very interesting to see what slightly lighter blue and even more lighter blue will look like after getting use to 445nm blue !

( Accutronitis ) i have some pictures on my profile you can see the difference RC is correct makes the 445/450nm look violet you will like the M462nm

It's going to be a power increase as well from 1.33 watts to 2.0 watts so that's a plus !
