This is true but as we are all aware of its a real hassle with customs especially in Australia so if you can get a laser local you tend to chance it somewhat as at least you can see it in your hand and if your told the batteries are probably low making it drop out on the high power mode you try to take someone at face value,we did discuss if a fully charged battery didn't fix it that i could get my money back ( i have since fixed it as im an electronics technician but took me along time) and even if the driver board was iffy he would look into sorting it out .But ive only had one short txt from him and just an excuse he has been working and still is after 9 days and nothing since after another 2 plus weeks i asked him about the laser and from the reply i felt like i was the bad guy for asking, that's when i knew somethings wrong .If getting high power lasers wasn't so damn hard to get into the country, cloak and dagger stuff no batteries, call it a torch etc then most of the issues of dodgy deals on lasers wouldn't even happen.There may be issues on trades other than lasers which is what i believe you talking about in having second person involved , im just talking about laser deals for the reasons above.
