ive got an old aries which is out putting a nice 1mw of green

im trying to get into the sod, anyone got any tips?

does the end (heatsink) screw?

If it is anything like my Vega the heatsink will screw off with a bit of effort.

Yes, the heatsink assembly screws off completely from the main body. The manufacturer may have glued the threads to prevent removal, so you might have to try some heating or cooling tricks to get the glue to loosen it's hold. Other than that, the only thing you can do is twist as hard as you can!
