Hello,

I am new here, not new to forums in general..

I'll try to make this short and sweet..

I figure this isn't going to work, but would like to know if it is possible to modify this laser to be a bit more powerful than <5mw. I'm sure you guys get this all the time and flame if you want.. I will be getting more in to the laser field in the near future, but just curious if this laser I have sitting around can be modified for some fun.

Please let me know if you need more detailed pictures... And don't mind the dirty board, the device does still work. This laser had been sitting for a while and a battery was accidentally left in it the entire time.. We all know what happened lol.

Howdy and welcome to the forum:wave: have fun and be safe ;)

Not easyly as there is no pot to turn up this means you will have to unsolder and remove and then resolder a new resistor and that is after you find out which one.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Could you provide guidance on how to figure out which resistor?

what jeff said.

You can get green modules really cheap now days. It would be easier just to buy a more powerful one than to bother with this one.
