Gotcha - I think you're probably looking for 650/660 red, not 635 red. While there are some $30 635nm red pointers out there, they'd have to be using 5 to 10mW (really dim) diodes to get them under $30.
A 200mW 635nm laser would cost ~$250 just in parts alone, and probably double that if you could find someone to make the final product for you. Conversely, the parts for a 200mW 650/660nm laser would be $20 to $30 depending on the host, and maybe $60 if you found someone to make the final product for you.
With reds, there's not a lot of mid range. You basically get (assuming you want one built, and not DIY your own)
~ 300mW 650/660nm Reds - around $60 or so
~ 10 to 40mW 635nm Reds - around $60 or so (but very few people sell them)
~ High powered 635/650/660 from people like CNI, costing ~$300 and up, often up to near 4-figures.
