Anyone know what's up with Tinker Lasers?

If TinkerTavernCo wants to be in business and stay in business in the USA tinker should try complying with and adhering to the Laws, Rules, and Regulations of the USA instead of being greedy parasitic outlaws hiding behind China if that is what tinkertavernco is doing.

TinkerTavernCo has a pretty nice website yet he has almost nothing that he shows in stock. Kinda reminds me of the Joker and "SciFi Lasers" who also had a nice site but made total crap.
Newbies get fooled by these nice sites, I did when I bought a laser from the Joker 3 months into being a member here.

So if Tinker posted the truth on the long shipping time and most of his products coming from China would he be ok?

Edit: just to ad that when he does get the lasers and what not, they look decent?

Which is why he was banned but that doesn't mean you can throw a party so to speak. We got members who were scammed by this guy. This is a very serious situation.

Not throwing a party by any means. It just seems to be a recurring theme here and I was just making light of that. We're also only seeing a fraction of what's really happening out there with the few posts that come through this site. Between all the bad sellers, scammers, lunatics and hacked accounts, it was a rather justified response to another banned account.

I've had about enough of Tinker. In late November I ordered their Green Demon and Blue Demon for their Black Friday sale. A couple of weeks went by before they generated a shipping label, but then nothing ever shipped out. I sent three email inquiries, and received one response about a week ago offering an apology and saying that the shipment would go out ASAP, and then nothing else.

So, if Tinker is out of the game, can anyone suggest where I might order a dual diode 520 and 450 like the Tinker Demons?

Well I did finally receive my order. I allowed some extra time, and sent a few more emails, and they finally were shipped and delivered, with a couple of bonus items included.

I don't know what's gone wrong at Tinker HQ. It has the feeling of a one man show, where that man's life has fallen apart for whatever reason, maybe some kind of tragedy struck, IDK, with the result being what you see: The business no longer runs very well at all.

Sounds to me like a rather nice resolution since you got some extras! Glad to hear it!
