Anyone know the name of this tool and where to buy it?

Ive been trying to find out what the name of this tool is and where I can buy it but after trying to search for it under every name I can think of I still can't find it.

Does anyone know the name of it or where to purchase it?

I have a few items that require it to take them apart and each has those holes spaced at different sizes so it needs to be a tool like this where I can pinch it to move the pins closer together to meet the different spacings for each item.

Any help is extremely appreciated! :beer:

hemostats work good too, just make sure what you are trying to unscrew isn't glued in place.

laser_freak's answer is better. You can use hemostats in a lot of cases though if you don't have a spanner wrench.

Yep sometimes things don't even have to glued in or lock-tighted in and you can loose a tool for using it in the wrong place :cryyy:

It looks homemade from a large safety pin.
Small needle nose pliers will work. you might need to file to a point the tips to fit the holes

Those look heavy duty. I'll keep an eye out for them in the hardware section

It's not homemade .. it's supplied with the laser, IIRC .. anyway now they have (o-like that is) different models which can be easily focused by hand from outside.

They are also used in jewerly making to bend the wires for beads so you can find them in most craft stores. My wife seems to be missing her's these days. . They have proved very useful sure hope she doesn't ever want them back.

As DrSid said, this tool used to be supplied with the early version of O-like's 400mW green laser torch /focusable/waterproof.

So if you want the get exactly this tool, I suggest you to contact O-like, to send them the picture of the tool and to ask them if they have any spares left.
