Anyone know of any cheap C-mounts?

I wanted to build a red, but at the moment the only diode I know of that can provide me any decent power is the LPC-815 in a 5.6mm can.

I also know that the word C-mount and cheap probably shouldn't be in the same sentence, but I wondered if anyone know where one can find a C-mount 650nm diode that will happly do 400mW>?

(Not nessasarly a C-mount, could also be 9mm, TO-3, etc) Im not too picky about the package but so much the diode itself, so that too is an option.
Also, Im almost sure these diodes will be multimode, so that the beam specs will probably terrible (even worse then the 445's) without some beamshaping optics (animorphic prisms, expanders, etc).

(note: Im not looking to buy any at the moment, I just wondered if a relativly low cost source even exists).

Have you looked at eBay?

Peace,
dave

**EDIT**
-- I just did a couple of quick searches. All I came up with were IR's and "unknowns"

Peace,
dave

Im still looking and can't find jack. (I was gonna ask jack where I can find the diodes, but he is missing).

The only 1W red I could find is on O-like (In a module), but the beamspecs are dispicable.
Main reason im trying to find one is to use it in my RGB projector, as I would like a single diode rather then knife edging and combining several lower powered ones for the final output.
If I cannot find any bare diodes then I suppose I will just turn down the power of the green and blue to compensate for it.

At the moment im half-convinced the only source for this kind of diode is via a sample from the manufacturer, and im not about to fork over several thoughsands.
