Anyone have a source for a 5mW 808nm laser?

Could you turn down the output of one of these?

It is unlikely that they would be able to be turned down so low, 5mW is likely under threshold.

Aixiz sells a 5mw 808mw module that runs on 3-5VDC. It's not cheap at $25 but short of rolling your own that's about the only prebuilt module I've seen.

No problem! They are known as Skylasers or SKYLasers, and they sell their products on Laserbtb.com, skylaser.cn is their official manufacturer's website and more products are available, and custom powers, filters, etc. I know people have had great experiences with them lately and my Skylaser portable is absolutely wonderful, I have been eyeing their 473nm portables for a long time :drool: good prices.
