A while ago woot.com had a deal going for the showwx pico projectors for $99.

I bought one from eBay about 2 days before that, and paid $180 for it! I connected it up to my eeepc, but the power adapter was bodgy, and destroyed the pico projectors circuitry.

That power supply is now rightfully in 9000 pieces.

Does anyone have one of the showwx projectors they bought laying around doing nothing? I've got a little project I'd like to try out.

Cheers,
Dan :)

I've got one here with the VGA dock

The novelty has worn off
I was just beginning to think about stripping the diode out of it ;)

$160, plus shipping

Peace,
dave

Hmm, have already got the VGA dock for it. Reasonable price though. I'll get back to you.

Cheers,
Dan

It's what the two components cost me (minus the shipping to you ;) )

LOL! Yeah. The VGA dock is a bit useless without the projector

Peace,
dave

Yeah, I suppose I could just sell off one of them. Do you have a rough estimate on shipping costs?

Cheers,
Dan :)

Without the original packaging, this should all fit into a small, flat rate, priority box @ $17

If you want to know Parcel post, I'll have to find out a bit later for you
The calculator at USPS is not responding right now

Peace,
dave

Things, can I assume you took the diodes out of the projector? :p

Just curious :D

Yes I have :) They're in my boxes of stuff on the way to the new house, which is taking much longer than I expected :(

I still haven't found a source of 3.8mm modules :p

I have one here (aluminum) you can have.
It has a SmOC diode in it right now, but I am never going to use it ;)

I'll cut your package open and pop it in there

Peace,
dave

Heh, damn you're too generous Dave :)

Now I'm going to have to decide whether I want to put the 445 or 640nm diode in it! ;)

Thanks man

Dan
