Im wondering if this in fact DPSS, if not what LD are they running for a CW rating of 300mW?

650nm is not red DPSS, that is 671nm.

Seeing how they are calling this a 300 Mega Watt laser I would just assume they titled it wrong or they put that DPSS in there to get more views.

That lens on the front is what has got my attention. Unless they have an LD mounted on the very tip (which doesnt make sense) and that looks like an expander for DPSS to me.

The reviews for the greens have been good, and they seem to have the outputs in range of their ads...

The 650 threw me too, but the rest has me intrigued.

That is my take on it, though I could be way off. I too have contacted the seller
and am waiting for a response.

I had to place a couple of large orders this week, but after all is settled, I will be buying one of these to try out.

I look at it this way, if the laser can do 300mW and last, there may be an LD in there worth investigating. If it is in fact DPSS, even better.

If the thing is underspec and an LD, I will simply send it back. As I mentioned earlier, so far the reviews of their greens make it all look somewhat promising.

If anybody else beats me to the purchase, be sure and post here.
