Any Idea how the internals look in this?

If you're looking for good beam specs , I don't think combination is your best bet :

I was thinking of a setup which uses single strand fiber optic, but cant figure out the optics. For example, if I sit the polished end of the fiber up close and personal to the emmiter, I alsway get 1 dot per fiber

I tried three diodes, in this fasion and after trying various diffusing and collimating tactics....BUPKIS :-/ Three seperate dots no matter what. Needless to say thats on the back burner for now, unless I can come up with an interesting solution to try.
