Any good?

The factors for seeing Blu-Rays, (405nm) are:

1. How your eyes see UV, (everyone is different)
2. Pollutants, particles, or mist in the air.

If you do not see UV very well, and if you are in an area with very clean air, you might not see it at all.

I assume you are talking about Blue-Ray(405nm) and not blue.(473nm) A true blue 473nm beam is much easier to see.

Blu-Rays burn better. Plus they make things fluoresce like black lights do. Greens get boring real quick and it takes a higher power to burn. Both need focusable lenses to burn.

T_J finally got 2K....

@Gsquared18.... get one of each... and start a collection...:D

I agree with Jerry and TJ; you are going to start buying one of each colour eventually so you might as well begin with two :)

Gz on 2k TJ!
I am soon at 1k myself.. seems odd that I will be a "veteran" though :p

The blu-ray is also much more likely to blind you from what i've heard, but that shouldnt be a problem unless you have small children around, in which case all lasers over 5mW should be placed far far away from them :p

Well you do still have to answer our riddles three and run the gauntlet.

But seriously members hardly ever die during the ceremony

Peace,

This is incorrect. Green lasers use IR diodes to make the green. IR is invisible, so its more likely to blind you because you wont see it coming. Make sure your green laser has an IR filter on it. Any high mW laser can blind you. It doesn't matter what color it is.

2000 posts of ball breaking LOL. Must be a record somewhere.
