anti static gloves

i would like to know if i can use these for esd protection instead of wrist strap

I'd prefer a wrist strap, handling small components goes way better without gloves, and with a wrist strap you know your hands are grounded.
I doubt the working of those gloves a bit too.

ok but i dont understand wth to do with the strap...
what do i ground it to? .. and how?
and do i have to stay with it on my wrist the whole time?

There should be a connection and a long 'ground wire'. I have mine connected to the center screw of a wall outlet. Mine is also a anti-static mat+wrist strap. It was pretty cheap and I figure it gives me double protection. My next buy would be a better soldering iron that can handle static discharge.
I would agree with the above posts as well....working with diodes and small electronics as we do would be difficult with gloves.

Also...yes it is best to get used to wearing the wrist strap when every you work.
