No worries, Ill leave that upto the more longterm Aussie members :D

I will ask the question tho, are there any Aussies who specialise in making hosts I should be getting in contact with? I see alot of nice cree torches and the like on ebay and various hosts on OS websites but dont have the means to spin up heatsinks on a lathe myself.

Elyas.... Wouldnt mind seeing the Skywalker. I have a couple of Bixlers I have built souped up with 2200kv 6x4 propped motors, CF reinforcing and the rest.... Bixler - Beamo Photography
Hope to set one of them up for fpv soon. Done the whole keychain camera on the nose thing, few good crashes on film :)

Wow! great set Up, Bixlers make really good FPV plane, till you lose them in long range flying :( , nice motor mount btw, would love to see it flying.

I got a green laser taped on my Pan-tilt camera mount, the camera can't really see the beam, but from ground it looks damn good.

My god that's one hell of an electric motor. That's pretty amazing how much power that little thing sucks and I'll bet it moves some pretty serious air. As you can probably tell, that's not a hobby I have done but its mainly because its hard to find places to do it where I live.

Welcome to the forum!
Thanks Cel

ApexProxy.... Definately pushes out a nice breeze behind it :) Its a fast setup but as you can tell at full chat it drains the batteries pretty damn quickly..... If you ever wanted to get into RC and space is limited could always look at a quadcopter or something like that, mount a GoPro on it. Least with a Quad you can hover and manouvere in tight places. www.hobbyking.com is where most RC plane/copter guys get their parts. Prices are very good if your starting out, cheap to get into......

Interesting, I will look into it. It would be a cool thing to fund by selling lasers. There isn't much better than funding a hobby with a hobby. I also hope to fund building a car (Nissan Skyline R-34) with laser cash once I open my laser shop and save up for some time.
