Hello!

I'm working on a retinal projector that uses a RGB laser system. Of course, I will be testing the rig extensively and have safeguards implemented before applying for authorization to test it on humans.

I have a question pertaining to the dimensions of the Aixiz modules for 3.8mm lasers, and the optical systems that can be screwed into them to collimate the laser. A cursory search did not reveal this information (it has to be somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it), so I ask for a moment of your time.

The question is: What is the thread type on the top part of the AIXIZ head (the "female" type threads, that house the collimation assembly). Any other thread types would be greatly appreciated, too!

Thank you for your time,

Kind Regards,
Ivan Kozlov

This help? :)
It's for a 9mm diode.

I think that drawing was from DTR. It was just in my laser folder.

Thanks! That certainly helps a lot! I presume that the leftmost image is the internal thread?

Also; Is this legal to use, or shall I cite your schematic in my resultant paper as a technical reference? What is your preference?

Yes you can use it if you like. Keep in mind this is the dimensions of my copper modules which have a bit tighter tolerances than the brass modules.
