I've looked everywhere but I cant find the dimensions of the front half of the aixiz module. I know the whole thing is 30x12mm, but I really only want to use the front half and I need to know exactly how deep it is.

That measurement there is all I need to know!

Quality control is not very good on them. I have found from 10.95mm-11.05mm for that measurement

Peace,
dave

Maybe all of those were from the same batch then...

Tolerances arent very thight, my experience with them is similar to danguin's - about 0.1 mm variance, both in length and in diameter (the latter especially for the backside, the front part as pictured seems more consistent for some reason).

Uhhh, if that dimension is 11mm +/- .05mm... that's a pretty good tolerance.
+/-.05mm is equivalent to a +/-.002" tolerance and that ain't too shabby at all.
FYI, the average human's hair is around .1mm/.004"

It's just a pain when you buy these heat sinks for them, that are made to a 12mm wide module, and the module you have 12.05mm. I could think of several other people, that this happened to.
