Advice needed!

Hey! My brother has a red 5mw laser from Walmart or another department store, and he was wondering if it could be pot modded....now, I know the rule:no pot modding. However, he wondered a: if it is possible, b: what the risk for a cheapie laser is, and c: if the mod would allow for any burning. Thanks in advance everyone!

Add an extra button cell, thats the only thing you & him can do.

No, you cannot pot mod it , because first it does not have any sort of potenciometers.

Cheapo keychains are made with laser dye mounted on PCB, one resistor in series and that's about it.

Adding extra cell is most likely to burn out the laser dye.

Best thing to do with it is to play around with your cat/dog .
