So, now I have buildt 2 working red lasers @ 450 mA and one "working" Blu-Ray @ 120 mA.
( I have also, lost 1 red 815lpc diode and 1 Blu-Ray 803t diode )
The thing is, the blu ray is really strange, when removing the lens, there is no dot but more like a line on the wall. With the lens (aixiz acrylic) I am having trouble with focusing. I can't make a small dot as I can with my red laser with the same lens. I thought that this might be cause by that the diode was not completely straight in the module. Then I did a stupid thing, I tried to by force move the diode from the inside and broke the small glass window. But, it still works as before. The beam is only slightly visible outside in darkness. The light gives the same kind of fussy feeling in your eye as you get from UV light, but I guess there is pretty much UV in there. I thought that the blu ray would seem stronger than the red one. Still, the blue ray does light matches and burn plastics but not as fast as my red ones...
Any thoughts?
