I am looking for 4- 8x, 10x, or 12x diodes. Not as a handheld pointer, but to be used in a laser projector.

If you just need the diodes, you can harvest them yourself from the drives. The Pioneer 8X and 12X are very easy to harvest. Pick up some drives from NewEgg.com. Shipping is free and you don't have to pay state sales tax
I would do it for you, but they charge me 9.75% state sales tax
