im getting a laser for my eighth grade graduation present i would liek it to be aboguht 150 dollers or under as much power as i can get who should i buy from optronics wicked exc?
 





For $150 you could build yourself a nice IR laser, goggles would be expensive though! You could build yourself a 300mW MXDL too...
 
if it's your first laser i would not suggest starting with a high powered IR diode, most people usually start with a green laser from say novalasers
 
its not my first laser and i would rather not build this one i wotn to buy it from a good company
 
How about getting an MXDL laser from jayrob, the cheapest combo is an Optiarc diode in an aixiz module with an acrylic lens, I believe it's 160 bucks, IIRC. That should give you a good 250mW which will be insane.

When I graduated among the top of the school at Grade 12 (the one that counts) my parents gave me a pat on the back and a 'well done'.

I want your parents!

I got an Xbox 360 as my 8th grade graduation/birthday/perfect scores on 2-out-of-4 state standerdized testing present.

I would recommend an X-75 from Nova, or a Dilda laser+ WL Lasershades.

I never got any presents for completing a grade. I even got into the best University in my country and got nothing! Oh man, I got fully ripped off here >:(

Next time I see my parents, I'm demanding a car for all my hard work >:(
 
WTF? Where's the achievement in graduating from 8th grade? Is that like the highest grade in your school or something? o.O Ah well, whatever. I'd say X70 as well, or JayRob's MXDL, they are excellent quality.
 
buy a bunch of dx lasers(true 50 = 600mw+ir ::)) or a jayrob mxdl, perhaps a bluray from some one
 
hear 8th grade is last grade in middle school i dont realyl see the point for gradtuation from 8th because we have no choice we half to go to highschool but im not complaning if i get sompthing
 
Yeah, go with a Nova pointer. Your parents probably don't want to buy from some dude making DIY lasers for $200 (even if they are great quality ;)). if you're lucky it will perform 10mW+ above spec. This should be great, you won't regret it.
