Overall impression
Nice laser
BUT
I would go with the SD303 here
CAUSE
+ the SD303 has a bit more power
+ has a star cap included
+ less IR

I´ve tested about 10pcs of these SD301 and SD303. So these two tested these days aren´t statistical outlier from my other observations and measurements.

Get a fasttech module for $5, then put it in any host you want and boom... 80mw every time...

Although I do prefer the sd301 HOST

I've gotten anywhere from 30mw to 80mw with a fastech.
But they are $5!
