Man, how long have you been trying to sell this laser?! Dude, I just bought an RPL 225! If this offer is still available in a few months, I'm sure I'll snatch it. But I'm going for the RPL 30 blue first. Good luck and keep everyone posted!

It looks like a great deal but there is no warranty on it and if it dies after using it for 15 minutes you're screwed.

I agree with this. It cost me $100 plus shipping it to CO and back for basically a new module installed in the housing. So an out of warranty RPL is safe to buy IMO.

This is a serious deal. I would love to get it, but the problem is that I need to get rid of this RPL225 first (not that it is bad or anything, just need more umph). I really am looking for an upgrade... Really wish I could work something out.

Heh... pretty much the same result as I had trying to sell a very overpowered portable... averaging 330mW and peaking at 408mw for several seconds! it's still up for sale BTW, and for less than this.

I think the issue is a high powered portable is something people choose to buy, then save up for, not something they decide to buy cos one pops up for sale cheap. $795 is a lot of money for the average dude.
