An example: If you want 1.5 Amps. Use equation 1.5 = 0.25 / R2 --> R2 = 0.25 / 1.5 --> R2 = 1.66667 Ohms. Now find the closest 1/2W SMD resistor from Mouser, Digikey, etc. to 1.7 Ohms. I think they have a 1.78 Ohm 1%resistor if I remember right. Making the actual output current 1.408 Amps
