5mw class 3A lasers: IR FILTERS????

I have recently been very interested in lasers. I am extremely concerned about safety of lasers (and my eyes ). I don't wear any eye goggles.
I purchased a couple lasers. Green 5mw laser by bynovel. Red 5mw laser by HitLight. I don't point these lasers into my eyes and try my best to avoid getting in the path of the laser beam.

Do these lasers have IR filters in them?

Would anyone please mind checking if these have any IR filters in built? :yh:

The red laser doesn't even emit IR. The green probably doesn't have an IR filter, but the amount of IR leakage can be from small to significant. It's hard to say with such cheap lasers.

IR filters are available here & there. A couple in threads here on LPF. Heres an ebay one.
You could try to open the laser & mount it inside or just glue it on outside. Don't use superglue (cyanoacrylate) the fumes will cloud optics.

Seems that nearly all inexpensive greens don't have IR filters. Unless they say it IR filtered presume it doesn't.
