565nm From LaserLandAustralia

I’m ordering 2 of these from alibaba when seller will respond to me. Wish me luck.

How much you got your module for?

It's an odd one as it doesn't have form of a typical dpss. According to one of the 565nm diodes link, the diode is 3.3V @ 450mA to get 20-30mW. So the diodes are not that efficient. Is it possible that these are diodes that are being overdriven? How bright is the output, and have you managed to lpm one yet?

Nexgen, I would order one too if I could get the shipping down. I may contact the seller. Oh, and good luck from me.

I hope it works out for you.

The Sales graph shows zero sales to date.

And the Specs are just silly. It looks like a typical Alibaba scam.

If you want a 10,000,000 Watt Green laser you can buy them from Alibaba.

I LPM'd in my first post. It's 25-30 mW

Can you post a link to a 565nm Laser Diode ?.

All I can find in Google is 565nm LED's.

Its $57 for me. :( I'm going to ask the seller to give me a quote for one.

I just checked the voltage on the Pump Diode.

It's 1.6 Volts. I think that confirms it an IR diode. And at 1100 mA it's pumping at 1.76 Watts.

I just posted the link above where I got that info. :)

I mean a real supplier. Not some fake advertising on Alibaba.

The First add has Specs about a 5 watt lamp.

I just checked the link you posted. Its obviously not real.

Come on Guys. Stop posting links to some Cheap Garden Projector on Alibaba. It's just nonsense. Even if it's yellow its says it uses RGB. It also says its 110-240 Volts.

This is just crap on Alibaba. Have a read of the product description.

Go for it. But its not what we have bought.

It's so obviously false advertising. Like 90% of the stuff sold on Alibaba.

While you are putting in an order. Get me one of the 10 Watt Green Laser pointers for $5.40

10000 mW Green Laser Pointer

I have seen 10000000 mW Green pointers on there too. But I cant be bothered searching for it.

BTW,

I have bought these module style lasers from "laserlandaustralia" before. They always come with that driver. I bought a 800mw 520nm laser from him and it uses the exact same driver. It's just what this guy uses.

Because he is in Australia most of the lasers he sells are Lab Style. It makes them legal to sell in Australia.

Maybe he got that 565nm from alibaba? lol

He used to get them from some China supplier. We need to figure that out.

I know he buys his stuff from a Chinese Supplier. It's obvious from what he sells. This guy is not just your average Ebay seller.

He obviously has contacts over there. Because there was only a couple of these I suspect he has paid his supplier to manufacture them for him.

Searching the Net for ND:SFAP finds a Document from the Macquarie University in Sydney Australia.

Maybe this guy got hold of some of the crystals and sent them to china for Assembly. That would explain only 2 available and unlikely to get more.

Link - Macquarie University Sydney Australia ND:SFAP

From my Research 565nm is the only wavelength ND:SFAP produces.

If there was only two, I'd assume a sale price alot higher than $175aud. It has been a crazy year for new wavelengths :D

Quotes from a conversation I had with him a few weeks back:

Quote start - New message from: laserlandaustralia2016 (226Turquoise Star)
No the internal module is a 22mm module but not from CNI.
The internal is a 808nm pump diode that goes through a crystal that converts it into 565nm.
Thanks laserlandaustralia2016 - end quote
