Pretty sure I've seen polarizing beam splitter cubes in the innards of various DVD drives/PS3 sleds I've pulled to bits...?
Guess its a matter of what wavelength they are coated for.

you can get a good sized one at either nova,optotronics or laser-wave for ~$25
