The power is 500mW of the 520nm.You have more than one then, what power does the one in the photo have? It only says how many nm it is.
As long as you don't spam it should be fineThe power is 500mW of the 520nm.
I have actually planned to buy a laser power meter sooner or later.
That means that I will know real output of my lasers and even post more awesome content on LPF!
Yes, dealAs long as you don't spam it should be fine
ExactlyHe's a good boy, I don't think he's capable of spamming, but it's always good to know that Unown's big eye is silently watching here.![]()
My first build pointer build is going to be green after testing of the diodes, originally had planned to do blue, which still looks good, but green just looks so much brighter with less power.
Amazing, the host looks good!
What battery will it be for the laser pointer?
When will you build your green laser or finish building it?Yeah I think it will turn out well.
I believe it's a 21700
When will you build your green laser or finish building it?
Don't forget to later post a thread about your new laser build![]()
Look at the new post about the nm to nm brightness calculator comparison.Yeah, I mean green is definitely brighter than blue mW to mW.
Choose 520 nm since it's absolutely stunning.
What kind of host will it be for your laser build?
Great, I am looking forward to your build when it will be completedI just bought a lathe, so thinking to wait till that arrives to do a proper heatsink. I can modify my heatsink before that to fit with the cheap mini rotary tool I have - but it's not great. And I still need to figure out the driver bit, I bought the drivers on Taobao (like Amazon but in Chinese) - and I'm not having a lot of luck getting the details I need for the drivers so I can use them.
Definitely will post when I have it completed
Look at the new post about the nm to nm brightness calculator comparison.
Alien Laser posted the new link.. It take roughly 90% more power for a blue 445nm to equal the brightness of a 532nm green.
