Probably not!
It takes 4X the power to appear 2X as bright. IE: to appear 2X as bright as your 50mW, you would need 200mW.
You will be able to tell the difference, but amaze you, NO!

well it might if you 50mw was only putting out between 20-35mw then a 150mw would look very bright and very nice.
