505nm diodes availability

That was quick, I just looked and they are "out of stock", 0 available, and 13 sold.

Doesn't seem to be a new listing, the last piece was sold on 21 Aug according to the sale history of the item.

I was in contact with a rep from Techhood, they provided an explanation why all the sites have different prices and techhoods supply dried up....so, apparently the whole stock was subject to a moisture problem , if you can believe it , and so all the diodes they had in supply failed testing. I'm not sure why they take the methods they do on their ebay sites but Existotem and Newgazer put the prices ridiculously high to stop purchases, and Techhood sold off the rest of the unaffected diodes at ~38usd, then took down the listing. Apparently they will be getting a whole new batch this month "september". I don't know how much they will be charging per piece, but i believe the prices will be as they originally where from the messages, or should i say hope :D

Did you manage to find out if the new batch will be one from the low wl ones (502nm - 504nm) or a completely new batch closer to the targeted 505nm?

Hi SM,
sorry they didn't say, and its likely they wouldnt know either, pretty sure this ebay seller (all 3 stores) doesn't own a spectrometer.

All i know is the next batch is "apparently" on the way.

At first i couldn't really believe they had a moisture problem with their supply, but i guess i've heard stranger things happen :)

I always thought there was something very screwy about the way they suddenly increased the price of the SB1573N91s. I'm not holding my breath that they will get a new supply of THESE diodes this month. They may come up with something, but I would ask many questions before sinking any money into them. I am trying to get the last of four of these diodes sent out now. The last one is going to Russia and it's my first time trying to ship there. My USPS app won't allow me to print a label going there, but instead state I need to take the package to the post office to get a price. That has never happened to me before now.
