You can safely run a 6x at 200mA for 200mW [highlight](250mW with a 405nm coated lens)[/highlight] while with an 803T, going over 175mA is usually considered pushing it.[/quote]

Are you referring to an acrylic 405nm AR coated lens? Or a 405nm AR coated glass lens?

I may be interested in buying one of these (if they are still available), also how much extra would it cost if you could remove the ribbon and heat sink for me as i have had a bad experience doing this. I am planing to run one of these diodes at 188mA is this about right for use with a large heat sink.

Answer: 188 ma s/b O.K. with a decent heat sink. I will remove the ribbon & heat sink @ $1 (while using ESD strap and all grounded). Pm me your email address, order goes in Tonight. -Glenn
