445nm Diodes [Germany]

Does not matter to much but I'd prefer to be A140 instead 130 and also be thrilled if it is A150,hehe, wich is almoust impossible cause I heard they ceased production for AJ150 projectors.

Hey, today I found a diode in my mailbox!
That sure was fast, thank you kingdingeling.
Unfortunately, I have no way of trying it out, since I have none of the usually
employed driver circuits on hands, although I could wire up some lm317 based driver.

Neither do I have a lens or even a module to make a home for the diode, as of yet :/

Also I'm frickin' scared I'll blast this little blue bug into ESD-heaven.

So untill I get hold of some more ingredients, I can't give any more feedback
than this.

Damn it, me wants to see blue light NOW! :

Damn mate ... i know that feeling. This must be some horrible time your putting yourself through, having that diode but no way to power it up ....

but today I rounded up the balls (I'm a bit ESD-paranoid) and put
the probes of my DMM in diode test mode across the 445 diode.

It's alive... It's alive!!
Muuaaaahhhaaahahhahhahhhahhahaaa!!

I'm sorry about this, but I was just too excited too see something blue
come out of the tiny fuxor for the 1st time!

I wasn't actually worried at all if it was broken or anything, no worries there.

It's really nice to hear that you got excited ... guess how i felt when i saw 24 of these buggers flashing my whole room .. my eyes got a bit misty, thats how bautyful it was
