445nm Blue Laser Host

Why would someone spend $80 for a non working 1W Laser when they can spend $90 on a perfectly functional 1W laser that also comes with Batteries??

Where can you get a functional laser (1W) WITH batteries for 90$ :undecided:

I was just pointing that out. I understand this is not the same host. You should unscrew the lens and take some pics. It could make the sale...

Edit: It does look like a multi element. What does the diode side of the lens look like?

http://puu.sh/1Tcpo this is how it looks like the bottom picture, the top one is how it should look like, and also price drop for $40 or a c3 with heat sink, or any combination of 2 things, host (any except c6 and 501b) heat sink, driver that can work with a m140

BUMP new pictures added, ask me if more pictures are needed, I have removed the diode from the chinese module and shown how it fits in and tried to take a clear picture of the damaged diode. I do not understand how it works, instead of a negative and positive attached to the diode there was only 1 wire a black one connecting the diode and the driver, and then the driver has the spring thing for power contact and a red wire that was I think just there maybe touching the heatsink it was around it seems too complicated for me to ad the diode and hook it up as I am new and like to use round drivers with a pos and neg.

I don't see a picture of the button in those pictures, also are any of the nondiode parts damaged at all?

the button and keys are still there, anything in the previous pictures I have it all. I dont know how to test anything, this laser went through canadian customs, and then health canada it was opened before it got to me. When I charged the batteries and turned it on, I saw a very very dim blue light and it faded away, after that I kept trying it was completely out. So then I opened it up and saw the diode looked damaged, today I decided to fully take apart. I cut the black wire from the driver and red wire seemed to come off on its own. I have no way of testing out the driver.

I don't care about the driver or the borked diode, but how much would it be for just the host and the tailcap keys? Also do you have any pictures of the aluminum case?

I can post pictures of the aluminum case aswell, but its the standard one that comes with lasers from china, for the host, tailcap and keys I can do $40 obo without aluminum case or $60 with it, plus shipping.

If you paid by paypal. They will get your money back. Aliexpress cant be trusted, Alibaba is better for shopping because of verified sellers. Any problem you have and you paid by paypal, they mostly get your money back for you. Good luck.

aliexpress is a part of alibaba, and I got a replacement already just had to pay shipping again, I just dont know what to do with these parts, the build is to complicated for me, so I thought I might be able to sell it and buy a host easier to use

I havnt really shipped much stuff, I will check the weight and try the calculator, for the case aswell or just the host?

I can guarantee you that this laser and your replacement laser would barely hit 500mW... Sorry.
