The smaller the build, the sweeter it is!
Not a bad idea to make a super tiny build with a half way decent supply.
For a 10440 build, I will have to mention that I have re-designed my SS 10440 kit to house a custom press fit module. (aluminum or copper)
Of course it is set up for a driver instead of direct drive...
I tried direct drive too, but I didn't like how fast the diode drops in power. (with smaller batteries anyway)
If you have room, a driver is the way to go...

Out of curiosity could you do a direct drive with the CR2 build you have in your picture Dave? I have the same kit from Jayrob and its just sitting on my bench just wondering it would be a cool build also
