405nm blue ray burner for sale - SOLD!

Re: 405nm blue ray burner for sale

I'm still using the same cr123 battery. I only power the diode on for less than 5 mins. when i meant by good use is amazed some people with it :).

If you buy this, I recomend that you either beef up (and shrink tube) the joints or send it to someone to have it done.
I can heat shrink the leads if you want to. I've only taking this laser apart once everything is in perfect working order. Lowest I can go is $60 but you gotta pay shipping (bout 5 bux).
Hey Frostin- where would you be shipping from??and by 'had some good use too' do you mean a lot of use? have you been using duty/rest cycles? any idea how long the batteries last and how many have you gone thru? Do you have an ebay acct. with positive Feedback-have you done any biz here with anyone other than Tyler? dr lava or flexdrive-jayrobs pix show a flexdrive.sorry for all the ?s I would expect them if i were selling it/&your offer is very tempting-HZ
I'll be shipping from the good ol usa. Yes I have a positive ebay account look up emortalking... member since 99. I;d do PayPal only (for insurance to me and you) and ship via USPS Mail...
I can dissasemble and post pics if you want...

If you can do all of that, why did you pay Tyler to build it for you?

Peace,
dave

Sorry, Dude. That make absolutely no sense. Punctuation is more than a test subject ;)

Are you saying you ordered "parts", but it took Tyler so long to ship them that he sent you a complete laser instead?

Peace,
dave

Correct.... I waited forever to get the parts. Instead he just shipped out a complete build already built.

Re: 405nm blue ray burner for sale

$65 is too good to pass up, especially if you're heat shrinking the leads. I'll take it!

Yeah. He used to do this as well. It is kind of a modification of a "ponzi" scheme. He would get a laser from someone else and send it to someone he owed.

Oh well. It looks like it worked out for you and now mrbear as well, eh?

Peace,
dave

I can see from the pictures that the driver install is definitely not my work... (just for the record)

Yeah. Definitely looks like his solder work on the supply-to-driver connection there.

He may have built this one himself.

Oh rubbish!

We were just getting to that part.

If one layer is good, three layers must be even better ;)

The original solder joints on the driver-to-diode connections looked like his as well

But I guess that doesn't matter since you are rebuilding it as we speak, eh?

Not only are the wires "buried" in shrink now, they are also now coming out the opposite side of the driver!

You appear to have also now added some sort of insulation. If it was built so well, why are you re-doing it based on our comments and not saying anything about it?

Something just looks strange here. Maybe you can help me understand what's going on.

With all of this manipulation of the driver, are you going to be able to re-check the output to make sure that the pot didn't get moved?

Have you tried bending all of that shrink tubing to see if it will still fit?

Peace,
dave

I was gone at a party havent had time to reply. I've done what you guys have recommended :). I didnt't mess with the wires going to the driver to supply. Instead of the tiny ass wire I used 28 awg wire. It's perfect size.
Beafed it up like you had recommended dave.

So send me your paypal account name, and I'll send you the $$.

BTW, what's the power rating?
