for now im gonna use the lens i picced above it fits snug and the divergance seems on par as original.
im about to solder one of the wires back to to the diode pin, anyone got any advice on doing this seeing as though ive cocked up so many lasers i want to keep this one working lol

As Uranium says, quickly is the key! Have a small blob on your soldering iron and just touch the point where the joint has broken. If the joint is a fresh one, (i.e. no solder on it), then use flux and pretin your wire or pin, whichever has no solder, leaving enough for a successful joint. If you have a temperature controlled iron then you may want to turn it up a touch as this will solder much quicker and reduce the overall heat to the diode. These ones are pretty tough though so I shouldn't expect any problems.
