4 Color Lumia Effect

Got boried so got all my colors and after some
struggle and good old electrial/duck tape.
I managed to align them up to hit my 2" lumia wheel...:gun:
its a 1.3w of 445nm, 50mw of 473nm, 556mw of 405nm, 150mw 532nm
Some pictures and a short Video (40 secs) boss man was bout to come in the trailer lol. He already thinks Im a odd one...
He came in my office the other day when I had my lasers/tools out... all wide eyed he just said " just dont set the rig on fire...please... "..

Saving up now for a real green,blue,purple,red Labbys. Then Im going to find someone to make me a 6 inch Glass Lumia wheel.

Perhaps it would be nice to add in 200 mW-ish of red too, just to make it complete?

Ha! Well it's not always about how the effect is made so much as what the effect looks like. Regarding 6" wheels, Displaser on PL (not sure if he's here as well or not) makes some of the best glass lumia wheels around.

You really need to get some 660nm in there too. The blood red is awesome in person. Your camera picks up 405 about as badly as mine does as well it seems. heh.

Do you know what kind of glass/material he uses? I'm fairly good at cutting circles (and other shapes) out of glass.

BTW that is a really cool looking custom focus adapter you have there on one of them lasers

If your looking for a 6" wheel go over to PL and contact swamidog he makes some good ones
he made this lumina projector and I seen it in operation last weekend at NWLEM in Portland and it
worked very well

They are counter rotating and move at .5 rpm or less the projection is awesome
and for me a lot of the time it made me feel like I was under water, like in a pool.

Ya thats just plain badass,
Are you doing anything as it runs? like adjusting brightness or
speed of motors? or is all that completly random.
Ive seen that type of wheel you have, that has segmented sections on it.
im guessing that helps with the randomness....
