Live and learn--never do that again--very obviously is neither family nor friend---that should have been an immediate red flag --especially with a completely unknown unverified, no track record supplier.

I also won't pay with friends and family for anything, unless I fully trust the seller from past interactions, either a well known veteran forum member, or someone I've done business with before, but even then there could be risk. Better to pay the extra percentage, if the seller won't agree, walk.

First Post I have read, new to the site and well kind of disappointed to see this one first. One of the first things I learned from other Pay Pal users is just pay the extra money to have security in case something goes wrong. I myself have used Pay Pal to get money back from a seller who did not send what was agreed to. Hope you get your funds back.

What still doesn't quite make sense, is why Billie refunded half the payment to evans, then went mia. Also she ended up paying Singlemode for the 2x 505 diodes. Why pay half, and not the other. I can't be 100% sure 317718's trying to scam, a scammer wouldn't refunded/pay half back, and not the other??? or.?? Also, what makes this even more interesting is what diodes evans was paying for, i won't post the info, but evans can if he chooses too

Yep, family and friends is for well...family and friends. Same as Chris, I only do that with people I can believe I can trust. There's a lot of members here who I would trust enough to use it however, so don't be put off.

If I understand to what your asking, he probably spent some of the money and refunded what he/she could?? Seeing it's former banned member 'Issac Clark" it's happened before with refunds of claimed builds and parts for sale.
