anyone had any luck making lasers in this wavelength. or done any materials experiments using lasers that where in this wavelength.

Diodes in the 370s to 380nm range exist, but they're very expensive.

Saw a 20mW 375nm diode here

If anyone has enough cash for it, I´ll add $5 for seeing this in a handheld :)

I´m sure there´re cheaper sources around..

Can 375nm do anything that 405nm can't do? Besides being a harder to see eye hazard?

There are UV Hazards that would need to be addressed
getting into the ~300nm ranges before I would start playing
with those wavelengths...
Why do you need to use Laser in those wavelengths....

any laser diods that are lower than 355nm higher than 308nm i saw the 355nm ones and there are leds in the range im looking for on the list you gave me those might work with a lot of tweeking but would perfer a laser the lower the better for wavelength in that range.
Thanks,
Brian

the lower end is for a materials experiment i will probably try to make a portable one at closer to 370nm.

i see that the xecl and xef Excimer lasers work for commercial lasers but i dont even have anywhere even close to what those systems cost as money goes.
