So I got this sweet piece of laser in the mail today.
What a treat. It is way above spec. The laser steadily climbs to 480mW after 80 seconds. It has a great output right from the power on the output just gets better and better and better up until the point that the shell feels warm. I shut the laser off at that point as is my practice. I have not noticed any decrease in laser power once the power button has been pressed as of yet.

Order date:2-18-12
Date Received: 3-12-12
Wavelength: 532nm (green)
Power source: Single 16340 (not included) 18350 will not fit. I am using a 16340 IMR
Button type: Side clicky constant on/off
Dimensions: 23.5mm diameter, 600mm length
Specified output: 300mW
Measured Output: 480mW!!!!!!!!!!! (have not tested with an external IR filter)
Beam Diameter at aperture: 4mm (with a 2mm bright center)
Spot Mode: TEM00
Focus: Adjustable
Divergence: .95mR
Price: $188.40
Warranty: 1 Year
Safety Features: Key switch to activate, led indicator light (green) turns on when key switch is activated and changes to red when laser is turned on, Aperture cover which twists on/off over the lens, 1 second power on delay, Laser warning label including wavelength and power output, Wrist strap lanyard on tailcap.

So overall I am EXTREMELY pleased with this laser and the lasers I have previously received from this company. I am waiting on AAA batteries before I can test the 2 pen lasers so keep an eye out for those. Thanks for looking and offer me $$$ if you are interested in buying this laser.

Very nicely overspec:drool:

Can't wait for the IR test....

For the pen lasers, have you considered using a spacer and 10440? Every pen I ever played with seems to perform better with them as opposed to two alkaline batteries, of course there is risk:undecided:

I have no reason to believe that any considerable portion of the output is IR. The laser is IR filtered. I will try to get an external IR filtered test though.

Nice review!
My unit was peaking at 441mW.
I was very happy about that and thought that's about as high as they get, but then I see this.
Really happy with SKYLaser.

How bright is this when compared to a 1W or even a 2W 445nm laser?

I imagine that its much brighter correct?

The dot is much brighter, and the beam is also brighter but I think a 1W+ 445nm beam will be more visible because it's much thicker & dense.

This laser is clearly brighter than a 1W 445nm laser.
I have a brightness comparison in my SKYLaser 1W Blue Laser video review, the link is in my signature.

Nice review !
These things are dirt cheap :D
I am also thinking of buying one !

Well Compared to my super blue 2.4W 445nm the brightness of the beams seems very similar and the spot looks equal as well on a white wall. The green spot outside however looks brighter.

The pens tested above spec also. The 80mW was 90mW. The 150mW was 200mW. I sold them to a co-worker so there will not be a review posted of these. Sorry guys. I may order more though because I kind of want one to keep for myself.

Oh boy! I cant wait to get this in the mail!

Edit: Damn it! Stupid rep system wont let me rep you anymore lol

Have you had a chance to test any of them for IR?

I know you said they are supposed to be IR filtered, but if they aren't the readings could be off.

IIRC your crown 500mW from o-like was LPMing at ~600mW, but turned out have about 100mW of IR.

Nope, I lost my IR filter. It's been rough.

I have a couple I picked up from radiant a long while back. I can send you one if you need?

They are a pain in the a$$ to use though. Personally I usually end up just sticking a pair of 532nm blocking goggles in from of the thermopile.

Why are they a pain? I might be interested but curious what complications you speak of.
