3 variable power lasers

can anyone tell me if this will safely power a diode and allow me to control its output while lasing

Read post #32...from September 22 2009....

Jerry

I realize that. I was just answering your question. :D

Either that or he is referring to your mentioning of the rkcstr driver or making his own ddl driver.

Or he could have forgotten to provide a link?

See now you have confused me. I think I will stick with my initial impression that he is still talking about the o-like driver.

Yeah... exactly... a bit ambiguous

He seems a little lacking of details... hence my Post #34...:san:

As Jerry has said in post #32 don't waist your money on them.
get a ddL from RKCSTR or make your own and add an extra pot to control the output, this is your best bet. or get someone to build you one.

Pyro...

Aw come on, you know that that's what he meant.

So you would have us let him continue to use improper terminology? That's like an English teacher not correcting spelling errors because "she knew what they meant." Part of our role here on the forum is to teach.

op, why don't you tell us PRECISELY what your desired outcome is? If I may borrow a bash quote to articulate:

<glyph> For example - if you came in here asking "how do I use a jackhammer" we might ask "why do you need to use a jackhammer"
<glyph> If the answer to the latter question is "to knock my grandmother's head off to let out the evil spirits that gave her cancer", then maybe the problem is actually unrelated to jackhammers
